When we reviewed the Deep Silence 1, it managed to impress, but with a price of 110 euros at the time of the review, things were not as clear cut as with the Deep Silence 2. This new case costs a whopping 30 euros less, but offers the same general features as the DS1 while only removing some flexibility with the hard drive cases and the air chimney. The lack of these features are no deal breakers, as you still get all the great build quality, three fans, the same two fan controllers, and full sound encapsulation / dampening. There are really very few drawbacks to the Deep Silence 2. I actually think that this is a nearly perfect chassis at a great price because it easily bests competing products on price while delivering more space and a well-rounded set of features. There would, if there are a few things one needs to gripe about, be the single USB 2.0 connector and the lack of a little bit more room behind the motherboard tray, but Nanoxia's Deep Silence 2 really seems to be on the right track with both price and feature set.
