Packaging

The NH-C12P SE14 comes in a well designed box that uses the simple yet attractive "Blueprint" graphics found on most packaging from the company. On the front of the box there is a small window that provides a sneak-peek of whats inside. Features are listed along with the model number and Noctua's web address. The left side also has a small window, dimensions of the cooler with a small graphic, as well as a list of what is included in the box. A product description in English is located on the back side of the packaging along with a list of features and corresponding graphics for each. Other languages are located on the right side of the box.

After opening the top of the box there are two boxes inside. The smaller of the two contains the mounting tools and accessories while the larger houses the cooler and fan that is supplied with the unit.

Contents

Inside this small two pocket folder are installation instructions for both Intel and AMD systems. The entire assembly process is depicted very well with the right amount of text to make for an excellent set of instructions. Noctua is always generous with their bundled accessories. Included with the cooler are back plate, upper mounts, and screws for use with Socket 775, 1156, and 1366 Intel sockets as well as screws and upper mounting brackets for AMD Sockets AM2, AM2+ and AM3. Noctua included their NT-H1 thermal grease along with two Ultra Low Noise Adapters (U.L.N.A.) which lower the fan to 7V or 5V operation for reduced noise output. Also included is a Phillips screw driver for mounting the cooler and its hardware.
