Value & Conclusion »Is the SLI HB Bridge essential?
While we did all our testing using an SLI high-bandwidth bridge, we were wondering: "what happens if you use an old bridge?".So I picked a few scenarios and ran them with a flexible "old" bridge as well.
Takeaway: FPS rates at even 4K@60Hz remain the same, even in games that run high FPS.
The same goes for low resolution at high FPS.
Games that don't scale due to lack of SLI support still won't scale when using a HB Bridge.
