Once the semi-passive operation ends, the fan spins at high speed for a short period to remove the heat. All in all, the fan speed profile is on the aggressive side.
Noise and Fan Speed (~30°C)
The passive operation lasts to around 600 W, with a minimal load on the minor rails. With more than 890 W at +12 V, noise exceeds 30 dBA; with more than 970 W, noise is within the 40-50 dBA range.
