Using a mouse or any other input device is a very subjective experience. This means that each user is different and has different likes and dislikes. We try to convey the upsides and shortcomings of such devices with as much objectivity as humanely possible, but keep in mind that your style of gaming may be completely different.
The overall feel of the Dominatrix is very good, but it has some minor issues. First off, the mouse is simply a bit too large. Being bigger than the Logitech MX1000 or MX Revolution, it is a bit uncomfortable even though the weight should be considered medium without any additional metal weights inserted. The center of gravity is very good in this state as well. As soon as you insert additional weights, the center of gravity moves back under the area under your palm.
Using the software dependent features of the Dominatrix work quite well. Setting your preferred DPI settings and the ability to then cycle through them functions just as one would expect. The same goes for the three modes and the macro function. The Dominatrix improves noticeably upon the many shortcomings of the Equalizer, in terms of the feature set, build quality and design.
