Output Noise

We used a high-quality CEM-8852 Sound DB Meter that was installed 50 cm away from the NAS for these measurements. The ambient noise in our lab during noise measurements was close to 30 dBA.



The TS-569 Pro outputs low noise during normal operations, although it is mostly meant for business environments where noise levels are usually high. If you also enable "Smart Fan" through "System Administration" > "Hardware" > "Smart Fan Configuration", the fan will rarely operate at high RPMs.
