Founded in 1998, Razer is a US-based peripherals and gaming equipment company. After the new Viper V3 shape had already been debuted by the Viper V3 Hyperspeed, it now gets the Pro treatment with the Viper V3 Pro. Instead of the mechanical main button switches used on the Hyperspeed, Razer's Optical Switches Gen-3 rated for 90 million clicks are used on the Viper V3 Pro. In addition, the Viper V3 Pro comes with Razer's latest Focus Pro 35K Optical Sensor Gen-2 capable of 35,000 CPI, whose main novelty are the ability to adjust CPI in native steps of 1 along with lower levels of jitter at equivalent CPI steps. At 54 g, the Viper V3 Pro is lighter than the Viper V2 Pro, despite being slightly larger. Whereas the Viper V2 Pro was limited to 1000 Hz (USB full-speed) by default, and required the HyperPolling Wireless Dongle as a separate purchase to enable polling rates above 1000 Hz, the Viper V3 Pro already comes with the HyperPolling Wireless Dongle, allowing up to 8000 Hz polling in wireless operation. At 8000 Hz, Razer advertises up to 17 hours of battery life, and up to 95 hours at 1000 Hz. To round things off, Razer has also implemented new software features for the Viper V3 Pro, such as a sensitivity matcher, acceleration function, and more. The Viper V3 Pro is available in black or white.
