Finished Looks
While the hunk of aluminum that is the heatsink may not be flashy, it certainly doesn't look bad either. Then again, I am a fan of box-like things, all square-shaped and boring. The cooler doesn't look out of place on the motherboard as long as you don't look at the fan.
The top plate adds a bit of flair, adding a small statement as it is something to look at, but not much else. The cooler is still definitely more attractive with it than without.
I have said it before, I am not a fan of yellow. That said, Reeven's choice of yellow on the Ouranos and much of their product lines is rather bold, to say the least. Love it or hate it, it definitely stands out, commanding one's attention. So while it is not my favorite color, it does make the cooler more unique and a great deal less boring.
The Reeven Ouranos proves to be fairly accommodating in terms of memory clearance. On most motherboards, all four DIMM slots can be populated by DIMMs of any height. However, clearance around the primary expansion slot is lackluster. It might stay clear of the slot in some situations, but will get in the way of that slot in most, making it useless. However, that comes as no surprise considering the cooler is a tower design that makes use of a 140 mm fan.
