Graphics Card Power Plugs

Just like all the other ATI low-end cards, this one does not require a 6-pin PCI-Express power connector. All power is supplied via the PCI-Express bus.

Graphics Card Memory Chips

The GDDR3 memory chips are made by Samsung, and carry the model number K4W1G1646E-HC12. They are specified to run at 833 MHz (1666 MHz GDDR3 effective). AMD's Cedar GPU which is used on the HD 5450 is their only HD 5000 Series GPU that does not have support for GDDR5 memory.

Graphics Chip GPU

This is AMD's new Cedar GPU, it comes with 292 million transistors and is produced on a 40 nm process at TSMC Taiwan. The die size is 59 mm² - really tiny!
