Backup Options
These options give you access to the backup log, display a list of all created backup settings, and allow you to create and schedule backup events of selected source files to an external storage device or to another OMNINAS device. All backup events are executed in a sequential order.
BT download
Enable/disable the bittorrent download function here, and set various general and specific download settings. You can, for instance, pick which files to upload, set download and upload rates, and manually control every download functions. While Shuttle includes BT download as an option, we would also like to see the ability to download files from various hosting sites (e.g. rapidshare).
Share Box
This menu allows you to enable or disable the Share Box function. This function allows you to set up remote access via a domain name, giving you the ability to access your files, including media content, through the Internet – at any time and from anywhere.
The Media Server function provides access to the multimedia library located on the NAS's "Disk" folder. Once enabled, all clients belonging to the same network can access and reproduce the multimedia content stored on this NAS.
The KD22 supports Twonky server, which provides all compatible DLNA devices with network access to multimedia content over the network.
Shuttle's firmware also includes an iTunes Server option, which will come in handy if you have any iOS devices.
