SPC Gear LIX Plus Wireless Review

Shape

The shape of the LIX Plus Wireless is no different from the LIX Plus and GEM Plus. Much like the Zowie FK1 or Glorious Model O, the LIX Plus Wireless has a low profile, centered hump, and sides curving inward, but the hump is more pronounced than on either. As a result, the LIX Plus Wireless feels fuller in hand compared to the FK1 or Model O, despite sharing the same general design. In terms of size, the LIX Plus Wireless sits somewhere between the FK1 and FK2. The main buttons feature decently deep comfort grooves. A hexagonal hole pattern extends across the back, sides, part of the main buttons, and the entire underside. As with the LIX Plus previously, I found myself not irritated by these, and rather felt they added grip. Due to the difference in hump height, the LIX Plus Wireless continues to be a somewhat unique take on the classic FK design.

As for grip styles, I'd say the LIX Plus Wireless is generally suited for all three main grip styles: palm, claw, and fingertip grip. It is a medium-sized mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it generally suit most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the LIX Plus Wireless very comfortable in claw grip.
