Value and Conclusion

  • The 16 GB (2x 8 GB) T-Delta RGB TUF Gaming Alliance DDR4 3200 MHz kit is available for around US$149.99.
  • Solid performance
  • Large, bright RGB light bar
  • Works with RGB software from non-ASUS motherboards
  • Part of an easily matched theme
  • Black and yellow won't suit everyone
  • Hynix ICs not the best for overclocking
  • Beta BLITZ software has some issues
The T-Force DELTA TUF Gaming RGB is an attractive kit, and the TUF Gaming Alliance branding has a pretty wide reach. Black and yellow certainly isn't for everyone, but if you already have other TUF Gaming Alliance hardware, then this kit will match very well. The RGB LED light bar on this kit is very bright, and the stock light effects are very good.

Looks aside, the T-Force DELTA TUF Gaming RGB performed well in my testing. I was able to reach the rated XMP speeds and timings with a simple activation of XMP in the BIOS of my ASRock Z390 Taichi, and I experienced absolutely no stability issues whatsoever throughout my testing. Overclocking was pretty successful as well. I was able to boost the frequency up to 3700 MHz without changing the timings or voltage. I hit a wall after that, and no amount of tweaking got me past it. Still, 500 MHz is a very respectable result, especially for a kit at this price point.

The Blitz software still isn't working for me, and this is the third kit I have tried with it. So far, I have made no progress. The software is still in beta, and I hope Team Group can get the issues sorted out soon. That said, most users, myself included, would prefer to rely on motherboard RGB software if any is used at all. The T-Force DELTA TUF Gaming RGB officially supports ASUS AURA Sync, and as I discovered, works perfectly on ASRock Polychrome RGB as well. I suspect that this kit uses the same RGB controller as the more expensive Night Hawk kit I looked at recently. The Night Hawk kit has official support for RGB software from many motherboard manufacturers, and I suspect that the T-Force DELTA TUF Gaming RGB will work with most or all of those as well, though as they are not officially supported, I can't offer any guarantees.

The T-Force DELTA TUF Gaming RGB is a solidly performing kit at a reasonable price, and if the TUF Gaming Alliance branding appeals to you, absolutely check out this kit.
