Introduction

Teevolution Logo

Teevolution is a peripherals company based in China. Given that Logitech essentially abandoned the G403/G703 shape, this shape being realized as a lightweight wireless mouse has been but a wish. Although some attempts at remedying this have been made, none of them quite stuck the landing. That is until now, as the Teevolution Terra Pro manages to recreate the G403/G703 as faithfully as possible without infringing on intellectual property. At 51 g, the Terra Pro is also among the lighter right-handed ergonomic mice currently available, all while featuring a fully solid shell. For the sensor, a customized PixArt PAW3950 dubbed PAW3950 STRIKE sees use, whose CPI range has been extended to 42,000 CPI. For the main buttons, optical switches from FE are used. In its base variant, the Terra Pro ships with a regular USB full-speed wireless dongle, and therefore is limited to a polling rate of 1000 Hz. Either as a separate purchase or as a bundle, an 8K dongle ("RapidSync 8K LCD Dongle") is also available, turning the Terra Pro into a USB high-speed device and allowing polling rates of up to 8000 Hz. At 1000 Hz, Teevolution cites up to 70 hours of battery life, and Bluetooth support is also present. Configuration is possible either in software or through a web driver. The Terra Pro is available in either black or white.
