Finished Looks
Upon placing the cover back unto the DH-202, I turned things on. The ODD drive works perfectly fine with the LG DVD-RW drive and the blue power light looks great. The overall look is refreshingly different to the DH-1 series and should fit much better with other audio equipment in a home theater environment - in my humble opinion.
As you can see I am running Windows 7 right on the 7 inch screen. Soundgraph requires you to run the display at 800 x 600 so that iMEDIAN works. The display is lit evenly and is actually very bright.
DH-202 In Action
Before this review, my testing hardware actually ran Windows XP, but during the process I performed a clean install of Windows 7. To prove a point I did all that straight on this 7 inch monitor, just by using a normal mouse and keyboard. Everything worked well and the unit performed just as well as a normal, external monitor.
I will not go into great detail about the software behind the display, as we have covered it multiple times, the latest mention being
here and
here. Once the display was calibrated everything worked flawlessly. Below is a gallery of some shots of the software.

You may also run iMEDIAN HD on the display once it is set to 800 x 600 and the iMON IR is connected. It works just like it does with the Soundgraph VU 706 or on the Moncaso case. Thermaltake has not branded or changed the GUI in any way.
