Thermaltake Tai-Chi Review

Cooling Test »

Finished Look

The over all look may not be appealing to some, but it serves its purpose and I no longer need to worry about the fan nor a kink. After the tubing is installed I used a separate PSU to start up the pump and add the coolant. I wasn't expecting it to use two thirds of the 500 cc Thermaltake provides, even though the pump and reservoir look small, the radiator holds a significant amount of coolant itself.

These two pictures show the loop once the door is closed and the bend from the CPU block doesn't look as extreme from this view.

The front of the Tai-Chi with all the face plates and grill installed, including the LED for the Total Watts Viewer for the PSU. Now it looks like we're fat and happy and ready to bench the cooling system.

Another shot of the front and back sides showing off the LED fans, you can also noticed the black grommets for the four holes in the back of the case. There is no mention of these holes in the user manual and from the looks of them and their size once the grommets are in fit 1/4" ID tubing, they are to allow for tubing runs outside the case, like perhaps a larger reservoir.

If only the pictures could do it justice...
