I wasnt sure what to expect on my doorstep with the XMG NEO 17. I knew the optional water cooling was to arrive with the NEO 17, but I was more focused on the NEO 17 laptop itself, to be honest, as it offered something that other laptops before it were not capable of; top level performance with truly optimized cooling. What I found was two separate boxes, with the most unassuming black box carrying the NEO 17, while a more traditional box carried the OASIS LCS to my door.

I found a nice desk mat within the box up top, under which was the carefully protected NEO 17.

The full-size NEO 17 comes out to reveal two accessory locations; one with the power brick and the other with several additional goodies.

Removing the protective sleeve reveals simply one of the most unassuming laptops I've had my hands on, the XMG NEO 17.

There is a huge amount of additional accessories included with the NEO 17. Most of it has to do with its special water-cooling abilities, but there are some additional things, like the product stickers (I love these stickers for some odd reason), ready for you to place them on your NEO 17, if you want.

The provided adapter has been designed by Chicony, and carries a 330 W rating. It outputs a 19.5 V supply with a maximum amperage rating of 16.92 A. This adapter features one of the thickest power cables I've ever had in my hands, and I've had several power supplies of this size and class before, and they were not like this. It really stands out and gives the NEO 17 a high-power and high-performance feel.

XMG was nice enough to send me a USB stick with drivers pre-loaded onto it. I think this is something that is included with all their laptops, but this one was definitely customized for me.
