Yeyian Mirage X Review

Packaging

The Yeyian Mirage X ships in a bright-colored box with a full colored image of the chassis in the front and a spec table as well as a cooling potential diagram in the rear. Both side panels are sporting the brand's neon green brand color and some additional marketing. It is worth noting that the case model YCF-EPMIR-X1 is exactly what we received, and it does not ship with any fans, no matter what Yeyian's own site or their retail product listings may suggest. This is an important aspect that Yeyian needs to rectify as soon as possible as it will cause quite the confusion with customers.

The case is protected by cardboard reinforced foam spacers and a plastic bag. On top of that, there are some additional foam pieces not pictured that fill gaps within the box, so you can rest assured it will arrive undamaged.

Contents

The contents besides the chassis are actually quite bare as you only get a bag of black screws alongside the manual and a marketing pamphlet. This is fine, but it would have been nice to have a handful of zip ties or Velcro strips to go along with it all. That said, as we will see later on the case comes fully equipped with cable management features which could be an argument against including additional pieces in the accessories package.
