Box & Contents
EVGA was kind enough to send us one of their individually sleeved kits, which a user can buy in addition to the PSU, although at a rather intimidating price; that is, if he wants something special instead of the cables the PSU comes with. These cables are
compatible with P2 and G2 EVGA PSUs only and are available in four colors (black, red, blue, and white). As you will see in the following photographs, EVGA sent us their blue kit; they asked us to pick a color and we liked their blue kit the most.
The box that contains all the cables. On the rear of the box are a list of all includes cables and a colored dot to indicate what color is inside the box.
All cables provided in the kit.
24 pin ATX & EPS Cables
The first bag includes the 24 pin ATX cable and two EPS cables.
The individual sleeving jobs are of very high quality, and, as you can see, no heat shrinks were used.
The blue color looks really nice!
SATA & Peripheral Cables
The bag with SATA and peripheral cables contains six cables in total.
In the second bag are all the SATA and peripheral cables.
Quality is at very high levels throughout. EVGA seems to know their way around individually sleeved cables.
PCIe Cables
The last bag packs all six PCIe cables.
Each PCIe cables provided only hosts a single corresponding connector.

As you can see, the optional kit provides a great number of cables, and their length will suffice for even very large cases. The distance between PCIe and SATA connectors is adequate; however, we would like to see the peripheral connectors a little further apart (150 mm) from one another.
We weren't able to accurately determine the thickness of the gauges used because each wire is individually sleeved, but think that the ATX, EPS, and PCIe connectors should use thicker wires. This was also the opinion of a highly experienced modder we asked for a second opinion.
