When you get mildly excited as the entire case looks like a heatsink and think "Man, maybe they got heatpipes going right on the mainboard" or somethin...and see that's it's all decorative shit plastic that does NOTHING and will be impossible to keep clean.

And then find out the case is hot as hell.

But it does compromise, 14900k comes power limited.

Modern liquid cooling delivers top-tier thermal efficiency

It has cheap GPU block with no VRM cooling (not even passive)

minimizing CPU and GPU temperatures while achieving faster performance, all while being noticeably quieter than traditional cooling.

Expect it is noisy and basically not faster than any stock 4090+14900k combo

I mean I still give credit them for trying a small build with those parts but they shouldn't try to oversell it.

I dont like the case itself either as it looks like a "heavily" Fractal inspired.

Oh and ironically, the best thing about this PC that it does not use Corsair's own iCUE.

what's weird is the OLD models in this series used to run high end gear with one giant exhaust fan but 240 for the CPU and a 240 for the GPU both pulling in cold air from the sides - for a total of 480mm of slim low flow optimized rad.

This is a massive downgrade to that original design.

This is a massive downgrade to that original design.

Also old models offered both AMD and Intel CPU choices while this one just goes for unstable hot Intel CPUs on a deadend platform and then have audacity to mention upgradabilty in marketting material(both CPU and GPU are stuck, GPU thanks to proprietary cooling solution used).

The sad reality is they're laughting their way to the bank to cash in the money of the continued sale of these terrible designs. People keep buying them so why spend man hours and retool the production line for a new design?
