I hope the majority of motherboards don't have active cooling on the chipset because i had a chipset fan fail and it was really annoying as i had to help the fan with my finger to go again. Having a fan there is just one more moving part to fail, just use heatpipes and heatsinks.

I say this because i've seen a... evga (maybe) motherboard with a fairly large chipset fan.

Also hope the TDP is reasonably low. As i have a heatpiped chipset that heats to ~50C.

Do people really buy Intel-brand Motherboards? They always seemed greatly overpriced and lacking in features to me.
