Hoping this means they'll do away with their DRM like system. I've only crossed it once with my Synapse. Wasn't bad to deal with Nvelo tho. You just shoot them an e-mail and they reset the key without any fuss. But it was still an extra step that shouldn't be necessary.

Cache SSDs are a dying breed. Hybrid HDDs will become big thanks to Ultrabook, then again Samsung's HDD division is done for. So I think NVELO got a better deal than Samsung.

Would be nice to see Sammy get into the Hybrids! Currently there is only Seagate with their MomentusXT line... :o

Someone? Anyone?

I do wonder why they'd jump to this if they were going Hybrid. Unless Nvelo's caching software does something others don't. I honestly haven't noticed. Course the one factor I don't like about it is it doesn't show you what it is doing. You can only open an exe and it'll tell you it is enabled but not how it is optimizing.
