BTW, nice to see these actually work :D
When I see 8GBx4 C9 memory I will say they done something really useful for everybody.
But for DDR4 we will have processor with 3000MHz and over 3000MHz, because of that DDR3 3000MHz need for very small number of people but 3000MHz DDR4 is some standard almost and they can free to launch with smaller latency. But they still can't or don't want, because that would be usefull performance for everybody, they will give that for 1-2 years for 500$ and now will joke with C25 and 10% better performance than 2666MHz. Example for Z170 platform 3000MHz will be something normal, dual channel 2x8GB, they need only low latency, that's only way to performance grow for everybody for everyday. No other way. Even Skylake will not tolerate 3500MHz just like that.
Why people make a deal out of it? You'd remember that latencies are measured in clocks, not x-seconds
