TechPowerUp News: A Whole lot of AMD and a Blunt Batarang

In this episode of TechPowerUp News, we talk a little bit about the big week it's been for AMD - with its massive Radeon Software Crimson Edition announcement, someone taking issue with the way AMD counts its cores, and GlobalFoundries announcing it's ready with its 14 nm node for Zen. Then there's the epic fail of the week - Batman Arkham Knight for PC, with its second misfire.

I don't have an AMD card currently, but I don't think I would like that new Crimson thingy...

I like the way you put it at around 2:30 concerning AMD's Zen meeting their expectations.

"Hopefully AMD's expectations for these chips aren't......low." I hope so too.

I would assume their expectations were 40% IPC improvement over excavator.

Great use of a pregnant pause.

Agreed. Only thing is, if he did chill and stop moving around so much, then he'd be accused of being boring because he's just sitting there doing nothing.

I tell you, you CAN'T WIN!

You are focusing on the wrong topic here. Just let the guy be. Personally I am more interested on the news, than the newscaster....

Yep, give the guy a break. He has listened to feedback and improved so much in a short time.

Its not easy to do this, to read but make it look like you're not reading.

I like the little jokes here and there. Tech news needs to be light hearted and dont be afraid to smile more!.

I think he is doing a good job, but I see your point. Give it a few more months, and he'll look like he has done this for years. :toast:

I don't understand all the borderline hateful posts. I just tried to give a suggestion what to improve to make it all look better.

I was essentially saying the same thing. I agree, let the guy do the news however he wants. Live and let live.

Buddy, I don't see where anyone is asking you to stay on topic. I think you were giving him good feed back and the reason I said, "I see your point". I don't see it as anything negative. You told him how to improve and even added a "smilies" to lighten the helpful criticism. He even thanked your post. Also, try not to take every negatively. If you are wrongfully treated let us know by Reporting it and not by trying to resolve the issue yourself buddy. :toast:
