Colorful's Unique Air+Liquid Cooling Solution Pictured

Colorful has always been at the forefront of VGA innovation. The company put itself on the map with some of the most over the top cooling and VRM solutions for graphics cards. The streak of innovation continues with a unique new air+liquid VGA cooling solution the company wants to deploy on many of its upcoming high-end graphics cards. Called the Colorful Watersprout, the cooler is an all-in-one liquid cooling solution in the truest sense. There are no coolant tubes sticking out of the card.

The coolant channels coming out of the pump+block assembly go straight to a compact rectangular radiator that's under the cooler shroud, and gets ventilated by the three fans. This radiator has surface area comparable to that of a standard 120 mm x 120 mm radiator. Further, the pump+block shares its cooling onto a secondary heatsink assembly which cools the VRM, memory, and the GPU. This secondary heatsink has its own aluminium fin-stack. If you want to use an external liquid cooling loop, Colorful equipped the card with fittings, too. So without having to take the card apart, you can fit it to your loop. The card takes up 3 slots in your system.

This is in a way similar to ASUS Poseidon series, isn't it? Though Poseidon is only water cooling ready and without actual integrated pump.

This has not just an integrated pump, but also a radiator. So your GPU is liquid cooled even with no tubes coming out.

I couldn't figure it out looking at the first image. I mean, it has pipes just ending into nothing...

Its radiator is detached and put behind it. The first image shows the secondary heatsink and the pump+block.

I don't know if its possible, viable, or efficient, but since the first Hyper 212 I want to see a tower cooler with a water pump on botton, and a radiator on top of it. A closed loop with the same dimensions an looks of the hyper 212, not a pump with a radiator attached... This card is almost what I dreamed on my cpu cooler.

'The Colorful Watersprout'

The euphemisms and innuendos are just flowing uncontrollably.

I am not sure which I am going with.. Mr Rogers level of pedo, or GGG golden water sports.

I thought a Sprout was a vegetable, a Spout, is where water comes out of, and a Sprite lives in the woods, unless it is a water sprite.
