EVGA Unveils Unique L-shaped VGA Power Adapter

Ever wish your graphics card's power connectors were at the back instead of its top? We imagine this issue particularly affects open-air case users, and LN2 enthusiasts at that. EVGA developed a novel solution to this. An L-shaped adapter called the EVGA Power Link, has a pair of male 8-pin PCIe power connectors on one end, and a pair of female connectors on the other. This lets you plug the card in from its distal end, instead of its top. At this point it's not sure if EVGA will bundle this with its GTX 1080 Classified graphics card, or sell it separately. The company tends to sell most of its unique accessories separately.

I appreciate EVGA doing this since I do prefer connectors at the back.

My older video cards all had power connectors at the back but they weren't too long to begin with.

Maybe if PSU manufacturers made power connectors that were flat and right angled, we wouldn't need this.

Excellent design but it should have been out years ago.

WHAT!? No RGB LED, or for that matter no LED at all.

How could they have screwed up so badly? And I thought they were a serious company…

But more seriously… it would be nice if they bundled it with their cards. Can’t imagine buying one, especially since I can just make my own version, and you would need different revisions depending on the card.

WOW good 1. Well idea is not new. . Finally, someone is trying and gave the a product that could be continuously added as a additive to GPU . LEDs i do not need, less bending cards and easy cable management :peace::rockout::toast:

Might help an EVGA 1080 fit more easily into the Dan 4 Mini-ITX case......
