Aqua Computer Introduces The Cuplex Kryos NEXT

15 years ago, Aqua Computer set the standard with the introduction of the CPU water block cuplex, and today, the company is releasing a highly innovative new CPU cooler, the Cuplex Kryos NEXT.
According to the company, the Cuplex Kryos NEXT impresses with the currently best cooling performance on the market, coupled with a very low flow resistance, with high-precision CNC production and valuable materials underlining its claims.

The unique innovative VISION technology can visualise almost any information at the display of the cooler. It is configured and controlled via USB using the familiar Aquasuite software, which takes temperature measurements directly inside the cooler.

With the patented VARIO technology, the shape of the cold plate can be changed from concave to convex for the first time, and thus, an optimal adaptation to the heat spreader of the CPU can be achieved.

Models with Plexiglas housing can be illuminated by an RGB-LED. The coolers with VISION technology integrate a lightning option, with the cooler's color changing in accordance to environmental parameters like CPU temperature and CPU load. When it comes to the mounting system, Aqua Computer says the new system has been designed to be extremely user-friendly thanks to flush mounted springs, new backplates and fixed stops.
Many different housing materials will be available, including Plexiglas, Delrin, brass and copper, with the cold plate also being available in pure .925 sterling silver.

The prices start at 59.90€ ($65), with immediate availability on most of the models.

Damn, that's annoyingly good.

I was certain to go with an air cooler on next CPU build but that looks too good to ignore.....

Cold Plate available made of silver. Sounds a bit expensive but it is a better thermal conductor than copper. iirc silver is the best thermal conductor of all the metals.

That's true, also it's the most reactive of all precious metals. Its going to corrode out faster than aluminium and copper mixed systems.

You're wrong. Silver is only the best thermal conductor among metals. Natural diamond has 5 times a the conductivity of silver. Some carbon nanotubes have more than 8 times the conductivity, but practically it doesn't matter, because you loosing it between the surface of the block and the DIE of the CPU.

As long as your loop contains few impurities, especially sulfur, it's very stable. Even with sulfur, it doesn't lose much.

This looks fantastic. $65 is not bad for the price.
Might get back into watercooling for the future build.

I'm probably going to replace my EK supremacy with this.

Looks pretty cool, though i'd say watercooling is pretty overkill for most stuff nowadays.

Also, the music in that video is hilariously overdramatic.

AC is on a roll with their engineering lately. I dig their m2 PCIE adapter which allows for an optional heatsink or waterblock. And this block is bloody brilliant for price. I know which is my next block.
