Nothing new to see here but yet another "virtual surround sound" headset. Why do people keep buying these things? Any crummy onboard audio card can turn on virtual surround sound without the need for these "gamer" headsets. Do yourself a favor and buy an audiophile set of cans. The soundstage (the actual term used to describe positional sound) is going to be far better than gaming headsets and they don't have to use emulation to do so. HE 400i on the high end and the HD 598 on the low end.

excellent driver selected 50 mm will definitely inside a spatial image and good sound and, of course, there is a need for a microphone which is missing on the HI-FI headphones. according to the manufacturer will be cheap and this is more important than the name such as the Sennheiser HD 598 that the manufacture does not cost € 200, and here we are paying name. If you buy a headset with good sound you can buy for € 20 with a 50 mm driver and give good sound. Only a sticker on the drivers need to peel off what many do not know. I m good with my Blaster HX5 .www.thomann.de/intl/superlux_hd681_b.htm

Anyone can add a ModMic or Antlion Mic to their headphones. Anyone stating that an audiophile set of cans can't have a mic is way out of touch.

Also, the 598 do not cost 200 euros. They can be had for around €120 new or even less if you buy used. If you honestly think the 598s are "paying for a name" you have no idea the sound quality they produce for the price. FYI the size of the drivers does not determine the quality of the soundstage.
