Sharkoon Announces SKILLER SGH2 Gaming Headset
With the SKILLER SGH2, Sharkoon expands the lineup within their SKILLER series and introduces, for the very first time, a stereo gaming headset with USB connector. It is equipped with 50 mm drivers, projecting deep bass and clear highs. An omnidirectional microphone with flexible microphone arm promises perfect voice transmissions. Visually, the SGH2 attracts attention with its subtle mesh covers and blue LED illumination on the ear cups. The headset can operate on any PC or notebook with an available USB Type A port on Windows 7/8/10, no driver installation is needed. It is also compatible with the PlayStation 4. Connect it for use via its gold-plated USB Type A connector.
The built-in 50 mm drivers are specially designed to meet the needs of demanding gamers and have a frequency range of 20 to 20,000 hertz with a maximum output of 50 milliwatts. The attached microphone offers omnidirectional usage and promises natural voice transmissions while gaming as well as during voice chats. Thanks to the flexible microphone arm, positioning is always adaptable to individual needs. Due to its circumaural design, the extra-large ear pads effectively contribute to the suppression of ambient noise. The headset also has a spring loaded headband suspension. This allows the headset to automatically adapt to the shape of the head and, even during prolonged gaming or hectic playing situations, ensures the best possible stability as well as outstanding wear comfort. The headset connects and operates via USB, plus has an integrated sound card, which is compatible with Windows 7/8/10 and the PlayStation 4, without driver installation. Thus, consistent headset sound characteristics are provided, for example when at LAN parties and events, even when using external devices. Also integrated is the easily accessible volume control via rotary wheel on the left ear cup. The textile braided USB cable with gold-plated Type A plug is 250 cm in length, thus providing sufficient leeway while connected to a PC.
The Sharkoon SKILLER SGH2 USB Gaming Headset is now available for the suggested retail price of 24.99 euros from authorized retailers.
