Thermalright Outs the Peerless Assassin 120 Black Dual Fin-Stack CPU Cooler
The latest in Thermalright's streak of CPU cooler launches is the Peerless Assassin 120 Black. This is the company's second D-type (dual fin-stack tower) CPU cooler launch in a month, following the Frost Commander 140. As their names might suggest, the Peerless Assassin 120 Black is slightly smaller than the Frost Commander 140, and is designed for fans no larger than 120 mm.
The Peerless Assassin 120 is a dual fin-stack tower-type cooler. Six 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes make indirect contact with the CPU over a nickel-plated copper base; conveying heat to the two fin-stacks at either ends. Two Thermalright TL-C12B fans come included with the cooler. Each of these feature fluid-dynamic bearings, turn at speeds of up to 1,550 RPM, pushing up to 66.17 CFM of air-flow, at 1.53 mm H₂O static pressure, and 25.6 dBA noise output. With its fans in place, the cooler measures 125 mm x 135 mm x 157 mm (WxDxH), weighing 1.02 kg (750 g heatsink + 2x 135 g fans). The company didn't reveal pricing.

Scythe Assassin 12

then we shall be compleat.
Also, Assassins are quiet and deadly. I reckon there won't be much noise if you get this thrown in your face either :D
In all seriousness, they would not be doing it if it didn't help it sell so the real question is why do people purchase a product just because it has the word "Assassin" in the product title? Company; It's German made!
Customer; You made it in Germany?
Company; No, it's made in Shenzhen China
Customer; But you designed it in house in Germany?
Company; of course we designed it!...by "it" we mean the graphics on the packaging.
Customer; so your involvement was....?
Company; look the OEM said our competitor was doing a run of 10k, we piggy backed on the run and made cosmetic changes as not to get sued for patent infringement. You happy?! Now go tell everyone our brand is better than the competitor even though they are made in the same factory and more or less have identical performance!
I like the Dark Assassin Pro too lol...
