AMD Software Adrenalin 22.9.1 Released

AMD late Wednesday released the Adrenalin 22.9.1 beta drivers. These come with optimization for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II" open beta, There's only one issue fixed with this release, and that's Enhanced Sync causing an intermittent black-screen to occur when playing games or videos using extended displays, and switching the Enhanced Sync feature on or off. Support appears to have been added for various new Radeon 600M-series iGPU models, which feature with the recently announced Ryzen 7020 and Athlon 7020 "Mendocino" entry-level processors. The upcoming Ryzen 7000 "Raphael" desktop processors are expected to feature a similar class of iGPU.

Fixed Issues
  • Enhanced Sync may cause an intermittent black screen to occur during gameplay and video playback using extended displays and toggling Enhanced Sync.
Known Issues
  • Radeon Super Resolution may fail to trigger after changing resolution or HDR settings on games such as Nioh 2.
  • Oculus dashboard menu and rendered controllers may appear bouncing/wobbly on Oculus Quest 2 with some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon RX 6800 XT Graphics.
  • GPU utilization may be stuck at 100% in Radeon performance metrics after closing games on some AMD Graphics Products such as Radeon 570.
  • While previewing the timeline in VEGAS Pro, some colors may appear inverted.
  • Display may briefly show corruption when switching between video and game windows on some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon RX 6700 XT.
  • When Vertical Refresh Sync is set globally to Always Off, system stuttering or driver timeout may occur during video playback using Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs.
  • Users may encounter dropped frames during video playback using hardware acceleration in browsers on Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs.

Wondering if they fixed the DaVinci Resolve AMD HEVC ttanscoding issue (the resulted file in the last few betas was audio only)

Have you filed it as a bug using the BRT(Bug Reporting Tool) I’m asking in the Beta group if anyone has any experience with thiS I personally have no experience with this program, sorry. I’ll update you if I get any helpful answers or solutions
Edit: a Member encoded in H265 in Davinci the free version with no issues.

This is why i sold my 570 8gb to a miner for $400 last January.

They still haven't fixed that? Happens on RX580 as well.

It’s been ”improved” but still not totally reliable. That’s all I can say.

i guess hardware accel will be shit forever on amd

doing pretty much anything on my 6800 makes it draw 50w
