MINISFORUM Unveils Mini PCs with Dual Ethernet Ports and Intel i7-12650H CPU

The long-waiting dual Ethernet ports MINISFORUM mini PCs are finally here! MINISFORUM releases its NAB6 mini PCs. For processors, NAB6 uses Intel i7-12650H CPU. i7-12650H has 10 cores (6 performance-cores and 4 efficient-cores) and 16 threads with 24 MB cache, doubling the cache size of i5-12450H. More over, its boost clock is 4.7 GHz. It can easily handle office work. Thanks to the Intel 12 gen iGPU, it supports quad 4K displays.

Design wise, MINISFORUM uses the white chassis with the logo on the top for their intel chip mini PCs as always and it looks very clean and simple. The chassis is designed to be very upgrade friendly as well. Simply press the top plate with hand and the plate will pop up immediately for users to upgrade its RAM and SSD. No other tools are needed. For the cooling part, NAB6 uses the brand new active SSD heat sink design and side cooling vent. It can effectively dissipate heat from RAM and SSD.
For interfaces, other than the usual USB3.2 ports, there are also USB-C port that support 5V3A power and video output. If paired with suitable monitor, it can use single cable for charging monitor and output video at the same time, making the desk even cleaner.

Interfaces:
  • RJ45 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet Port ×2
  • USB3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ×1 (Data Only, In Front)
  • USB3.2 Type-C ×1 (DP Only)
  • USB3.2 Type-C ×1 (Alt DP and Data and PD Output)
  • USB3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ×4
  • HDMI ×2
  • DMIC ×1
  • 3.5 mm Combo Jack ×1
  • Clear CMOS ×1

I thought so too, but was positively disappointed. My country was not available as a shipping destination, so I wrote an e-mail to them and they shipped me an UM690 without any problems after I wired them the money. I actually got a discount over the already discounted price as well. Shiny! There was a rather long wait for it as it was a preorder and it was delayed for about another two months.

Come on minisforum...I want to see models with AMD's Pheonix range ASAP. I want to see what that 780M iGPU can do with 6000Mhz SO-DIMMs, more wattage and better cooling!

DMIC....is that the DC plug?

Twin ethernet ports. Great. I wish we would see more of that. I‘d also like to see designs that are flatter. Where i could 1UE rack mount it.

I wish all PCs came with dual Ethernet. It would really open up their possibilities to be reused after they get too old to be used for whatever they were originally purchased for.
