HUB's monitor channel has a roundup of the QD-OLEDs that use that same panel (sans the Philips Evnia model), this one has some active cooling noise but the strongest selection of input ports. Good stuff.

Way too expensive considering competitors can be had for less than 1200.

We’re reached the point when press releases about flagship monitors doesn’t include the most essential information - resolution. Instead we read couple of pages of marketing BS.
Shut up, and give me the specs!

All current generation QD-OLED ultrawides at 34 inch use the same Samsung panel, which runs at 3440 x 1440/175 Hz. They pretty much all have the same performance as well, with the AW3423DWF having a 165 Hz limitation.

If they had a resolution bump to say 3840 x 1800 at the same price and specs, then I would be interested. As it is it's just a widescreen version of a 27" 2560 x 1440 monitor which means the same low dpi.

Let's hope they see these feedbacks

I wonder why they skip the most important information in their "press release" - the image quality level as a result of the resolution.

3440x1440 at 34" is a very low PPI of only 109.68 PPI.

People are already moving to 4K, 5K, 6K at that size. 34" is not a small screen.

Those are usually 38'' and have exactly the same PPI. I think what we should look forward to is 5k2k (5120x2160)

That's perfectly fine and about at the limit where you don't need any scaling which is great. Low would be things well bellow 100 like 27'' 1080p or even worse 32'' 1080p

I know what they usually are, which is why I'm asking for a 34" version. I'm as sick of the 3440 x 1440 resolution as I am of the 16:9 aspect ratio in normal desktop monitors. It's been around forever and it's time to see higher res models. For 38" 5k2K would be fine, but we will be looking at far higher prices and highly unlikely we'll see 144Hz.

And you're running scaling at what, 200%?

No, 200% makes everything too large. I use custom presets between 180% and 190%.
