This Week in Gaming (Week 25)

As we are about to enter the second to last week of June, we got another packed week of new releases, with this week's AAA title being an action RTS game that may involve things exploding out of your chest. The rest of next week's release contains a mix of mostly several new FPS games, but also some Mayan action and a different take on the racing game genre.

Aliens: Dark Descent / This week's AAA title / Tuesday 20 June

Trepang² / This week's AA title / Wednesday 21 June

Forever Skies / Thursday 22 June

Read that claim, but didn't feel much of it myself. Or maybe I don't remember FEAR as well as I think I do?

Half of demo was mostly hide and cover a'la MGS/Splinter Cell.

When it came to actual combat, options are diverse. You have bullet time. You have cloak. So you can sneak up invisible to the enemy and blast them in the face with shotgun. Or you can slide into them to knock them down. Or you can take cover and return fire in short bursts as you would in other games. Lots of choices.

From the description and images Forever Skies has a Subnautica but above ground feel to it

Where are all the people saying that Gaming is Dead? I am being blown away at the quality we are getting in Graphics is some Games. Then the atmosphere that that Aliens Games seems to share with Miasma Chronicles.
