What separates these new fittings is that they feature a rotary joint on the threaded side, enabling you to attach the fitting to the tube, securely fasten the compression ring, and then install the entire assembly into a G1/4" port inside your PC.

Satin Black Coating
The fitting barb and compression rings feature a distinctive and high-quality satin black coating finish. Both components are machined from CNC brass, and the seal is made with top-grade rubber O-rings. The black EK-Quantum Torque series fittings are intentionally left unpainted on the inside to minimize the presence of potential contaminants in the loop.

Essential Tool: Allen Key 8 mm
The fitting base has a smooth surface and lacks an adequate gripping covering. However, the inside of the barb features an 8 mm hex Allen key pattern. When attaching the fitting onto the tube during installation, it is highly recommended to use a separately purchased Allen Key 8 mm or EK-Loop Multi Allen Key. The Allen key is used to hold the fitting in place while you screw in the compression ring.
