AMD Unveils Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Limited Edition Radeon RX 7900 XTX

AMD partnered with Ubisoft to release a limited edition graphics card themed after "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora," which releases on December 7, 2023. Based on the reference AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, the card features a special color-scheme from the game, but the star attraction here is the card's thermally-reactive paint. At idle temperatures, certain parts of the card appear dark, but come to life as the card heats up when gaming. Besides this, the card has its own set of RGB LED illumination that you can control from AMD Software Adrenalin. We'll find out closer to December if this limited edition card includes a copy of the game.

From the AMD site:
"These cards will not be for sale, but you can hunt down the custom AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX through special promotions and giveaways running with AMD, Ubisoft and other partners in the weeks ahead."

Again a giveaway like the Starfield card... they really should make them buyable... lost profit...

It sure is beautiful, but it doesn't really scream "Avatar" at me.

To me, it screams TRON.

Maybe they should've called it the TRON Edition. :D

Reminds me of the 2080 Ti Cyberpunk 2077 edition.

Protect Pandora with Radeon Graphics has to be one of the stupidest taglines I have ever heard.

I like the colors of this card, but would rather not have the Avatar logo on the back.

"Are you ready ?"

Yea, I AM....

I'm ready for all this cartoonish-laden crap to be over with already.....

Just give us some really fast, strong performing, AND reasonably priced GPU's, and we all will be ALOT happier :D

I like the color scheme. Kind of wish AMD would bling out their reference cards with optional themed or colored shroud plates, similar to what Sapphire did with their Nitro+ 500 series, or have Sapphire do that again.
