Any idea how expensive datarecovery on a 24TB disk can be?

I run RAID6 so if a disk dies it goes in the bin and then I rebuild the array once a new disk is plugged back in.

Now to rebuild an array made out of 24TB disks will probably take upwards of a week.

Minus Infinity$1300 a pop in Australia. Yeah nah.
Yeah that's filthy.

Especially when the new 30TB Exo's are touted to be cheaper than that.

That's the price of the 18 TB WD Gold here in Brazil. Interesting price, I feel a bit high for anything that isn't an enterprise-grade drive, but I suppose it does have 24 TB. The "sweet spot" for pricing right now in $ per TB seem to be the 14 TB drives. Sucks if you have room for only one drive and need a higher capacity one... my predicament exactly. That and the fact that I don't know if a drive of such extreme capacity will work with a Core 2-era motherboard that has a legacy Award BIOS (not as a boot drive, but just as attached storage) have stopped me from purchasing one so far.
