OS X Leopard Hacked for Intel PCs
Just one day after its release, Apple's new OS X Leopard has already been hacked to work on standard Intel-based computers. Admittedly it isn't guaranteed to work 100% yet, and is more than likely illegal in some way, but all you need to give it a try is a patched DVD image, a zip file with a patch and a USB flash drive. After that you're just three easy steps away from running the new operating system on your Intel PC (SSE3 and later) but unfortunately there's no AMD support available yet. As many PC owners have a slight dislike for Macs this may not be too appealing to everyone, but you can take a look at the procedure here.

The pirate users will install, find that an incompatibility renders their PC useless and they will then sue!
But you know what's an even better idea? Now buying a Mac at all ;)
I love how they encourage others to use Windows on their system but they do everything to make their OS exclusiv to the Mac and iPods exclusive to iTunes.
OSX Tiger was cracked for use on a PC also..
In fact it is rumored that the directions were hidden in the code of the os to start with so that the people who were going to create it could very easily.
I cannot say myself I know this to be fact, but I have heard many many people say this is true.
No....
Apple has a extremely solid market, and a ever growing very solid market. They are FAR from even having to think about loss of business...
In fact Apple holds the market majority for notebook sales now also... They went to Intel chips because they can get them much cheaper, in turn makes their market larger due to pricing, and they make more profit.
the main reason was that ibm was focusing on the consoles for quite a while left apple with g4@1.5 and the g5 at 2,5ghz that make apple (mostly stevo) very upset (especially when a couple of years back it was promised to deliver the 3.ghz g5 and a dual core g5).after a lot of negotiating with amd and intel they choose intel because they can support them in full systems like chipset/gpu/cpu and because the instant delivery of intel.
as for the solid market yes it have but not desktop neither the laptop...ipod yeap that where the money is .....although in almost 2 years the apple have sale almost the same amount of pc an laptop that g4-g5 was mostly because the parralers and the bootcamp
...now to find that patched dvd...
