ECS Offers GeForce 8800GT Dual Turbo With Arctic Cooling S1
Elitegroup Computer Systems or Elitegroup for short released today its latest GeForce 8800GT Dual Turbo graphics card. Compared to other NVIDIA 8800GT competitors, ECS N8800GT Dual Turbo version adopts Arctic Cooling's S1 heatsink. S1 has increased surface of heat dissipation around thirty times larger than the stock GeForce 8800GT cooling, which makes the cooler extremely efficient. Furthermore, ECS 8800GT Dual Turbo Version Graphics Card is equipped with two high performance low-noise fans. According to ECS, this type of cooling lowers the operating temps under load vastly, from 91°C for the regular cooling down to 64°C for the AC S1 GeForce 8800GT Dual Turbo. Temps are measured while running 3DMark05.

and boo for ECS hah
that has to literally take up 2&1/2 PCI slots that is huge, its a great idea as the cooling on it is amazing. but its a shame they couldnt of just had a dual slot old style DHES cooler on it (the same coolers like on the EVGA KO's) & blast the hot air out the case but good move tho
Reminds me of a fat guy in a small suit!
so close enough now wheres my cookie?
I wish they would make Graphics cards socket-based, instead of card based. Think about it, SocketN for Nvidia.... And you can fit an ocz vendetta on your GPU then :D because they would make it the same size as a socket 775, with the same whole pattern. And theres a seperate DIMM slot for VRAM upgrades.... Kinda a nice idea...
May be this sucker will run around 60's under load with that type of cooling.
nicely done...
that brings to mind from Tommy Boy, fat guy in a little coat haha
