He probably means the cable is lightning at the phone end and type C at the charger end. There are no earlier models than the iPhone 15 with type C.

I am absolutely sure it is also called lack of sleep, brain fog and stubborn argumentativeness from a crotchety old know-it-all with a stick up his ass and chip on his shoulder for no other reason than his worthless self worth and the dire need for interaction, despite the lack of connectedness, because of his introvertish tendencies caused by his overwhelming dislike of other people. Get a new battery fitted by Apple and keep it. Cheaper than buying a new phone, and a 12 is still perfectly ok.

The more I use my current iPhone SE, the more I love it. These days these littler phones are somewhat rare, I love that I can use my phone with one hand without problems :)

I remember payphones from the 90s and early 2000s, I had several 30FIM prepaid cards so I could call my mom if I was spending more time skateboarding than I was supposed to. :)

Good times.

I finally got around to upgrading my old mobile phone

To a Moto G Stylus. It's a cheap phone relatively but it does everything I want. I have a pad and two laptops for portability when needed for travel or occasions like sitting in a waiting room bored. I also have a ridiculously cheap cell plan that's $30 a month. I know it's pitiful but anything more is just an unused waste of money for me.

My first one was a Nokia 6110 which I got from my godfather in 2002. Holy shit those prepaid pricings back then.... damn.

I daily an iPhone 15 Pro Max, but I also have a 12 Mini that I regularly use when I want something small and light. I would love to see them take the Mini formfactor and use it for a new SE.

If you do that on your 11 and up, you lose the battery health reading, apparently a chip in the battery is matched to tthe phone, and surisingly only Apple can program a new battery to match with the phone.

Hey Peeps...

I got a iphone 12 pro max... battery life has dropped to 80% now, do i change to upcoming 16 or keep it for another year....

My Xs Max has requested me to service the battery. It's at 77% capacity and was at 80% when I got it a few weeks ago. I haven't experienced shutdowns or noticeable slowdowns and it says that full performance is currently attainable with this battery, but it does not last very long. I plan on having it serviced this or the next week, just did not have the time to go to the Apple Store yet.

Your 12PM is still an amazing phone. Have it serviced even if you do not plan on keeping it as your main.

I remember payphones from the 90s and early 2000s, I had several 30FIM prepaid cards so I could call my mom if I was spending more time skateboarding than I was supposed to. :)
Unbelievable. In my youth we hadn't had cellphones at all. It was said at 00:00 we eat. If we haven't been at home at that time we didn't get anything to eat and we had to go to bed. To me this happened exactly one time. Then i was timely at home. No matter how interesting other things have been.

Reminds me of the first phone I had back in 2002. I was 9 at the time. It didn't really do much and I cared little for it, SMSs were very expensive and I didn't have any credits, or money really. It was just something for my mom to be able to call me at the time.

New S23 256 GB for my mum.

Impressive phone really. Has efficient Snapdragon chipset, good cameras, great battery life (smaller than my S10+ and much lighter but has 3900 mAh compared to my phone's 4000 mAh, while being more efficient, 8 gen 2 vs 855, 4nm vs 7nm), Victus 2 on both sides, wireless charging, 120 Hz LTPO etc.

https://github.com/Universal-Debloater-Alliance/universal-android-debloater-next-generation/wiki/FAQ Used this to remove the Meta apps, certain bloat and some of the undisableable/un-uninstallable software like Bixby etc.

Better efficiency and WiFi/load battery life than the iPhone 14 Pro too, according to NBcheck, although with the extent of debloating and tuning I've done the battery life is definitely better than stock.

Loaded it up with a Snakehive leather fold case/wallet and a tempered glass screen protector, nice flat screen no curve.

Damn, looking forward to my own phone upgrade to a variant of the S25, likely the Ultra, although I really do wish there wasn't an internal pen, rather a larger battery instead.

Best of all, bought it BNIB unlocked to all carriers off Amazon for £538, RRP about double that a year ago when it was new.

The Github software programmed in Rust is pretty nice, I like how it shows information about the packages, rather than having to do a certain amount of guesswork when doing via command line, the way I used to.

Being able to keep a stock unrooted software environment which can update normally, but have the perks of no bloat at all with a reduced battery load, attack surface and lower network usage is such a perk. You have to reset the phone for the bloat to be reinstalled.

Anyway, some envy when I hand her the phone on Tuesday lol.

Realised this would probably be better posted in "what's your latest tech purchase" since it's not technically my daily driver, but I'm too tired to rewrite it now lol.

Oh, the NBC review is for the 128 GB variant too, the 256 GB variant is actually even more efficient, since it uses UFS 4 storage rather than UFS 3.1, since UFS 4 isn't made in 128 GB capacities, but is both faster and more energy efficient.

I got a Nokia 6110 back in 2002 as my godfather upgraded his phone and he give the old 6110 to me :)

It was dope as it supported Snake 2 players via infrared :D

I daily an iPhone 15 Pro Max, but I also have a 12 Mini that I regularly use when I want something small and light. I would love to see them take the Mini formfactor and use it for a new SE.
I'm honestly surprised why Apple hasn't made a SE Plus using a 8 Plus form factor o_O

Still an old iPhone 8

next one might be a Motorola. Some way cheaper options vs even the intro iPhone.
