I got this cooler when I got my 5600X ~3 years ago. I repasted using MX-4 when I upgraded to the 5800X3D. I do remember the mounting bracket bending somewhat significantly before the screws stopped turning. I am not sure if I way-over-tightened it or if that's normal.
