that's a solid price.... not overly fond of Acer quality, but a 27" 1440 at that price... Nice.

there are a lot of good deals on monitors these days, I believe a Mini-LED is only $230 27" 1440p 165hz. I would opt for the Mini-LED personally.

eh 250 my bad, but 50 more for Mini-LED HDR 1000 is still worth it imo. at these prices though Mini-LED should be all anyone buys anymore. and OLED for premium buyers.

I wasn't big on them until I got my ultrawide. It's been solid so far.

I paid $650 for this 5 years ago. Soild monitor and use it every day. It requires DP connection for g-sync. Might buy a second one and retire my 12yr monitor.

Yeah, I picked one up as a secondary monitor felt the same for 250 I'd rather go with mini led with 300+ dimming zones and black levels that don't look grey.

@ir_cow listen to this lad, spend the extra 50 if you retire the 12 yr old monitor! or hold out for OLED price drops! I will make you a cake shaped like pc ram someday. now who are you going to listen to? your routine self, or me? the eccentric friendly tpu gnome?!

Part of the reason I opted for it is my primary monitor is oled which makes ips really hard to look at and the black levels should be infinity better I likely wouldn't recommend it for competitive gaming most fald monitors are slow compared to non fald varients when it comes to pixel response so it's a trade off.

@ir_cow I think you should try to hold off on any monitor for right now. 2024 is going to be a game changer I think in a lot of ways. cheap OLED is coming... wait a another 6 months. the 360hz 27" 1440p OLED panels will be out in the Spring, that means the current 240hz panels which already struggle to sell will bottom out in price. maybe $399 for those models if we get lucky, but eh we will see.

I like my old Dell U2410. The screen is turning yellow and it no longer can be considered color accurate, but it still works as a secondary. I'm really waiting for 4K 240Hz before I upgrade again. Monitors and video cards needs DP 2.0 for that to work. Maybe next year.

Oh its older than I thought. I bought it in 2009 lol.
