I just bought an asrock arc a770 phantom gaming but since I turn on the PC the fans are at 3700rpm no matter what configuration or what drivers I put it remains the same, I activated the resizable bar and put the latest drivers, now that I find this tool to flash I have some problems with the oprom(data) and the FW data/config,in the oprom data it says this
"Error: The image is not compatible with the device, check vid/did
OPROM DATA Version: 14 00 28 04 00 00 00 00
OPROM DATA Version: 14 00 27 04 01 00 00 00"

and in the fw data/config it says "Error: The image is not compatible with the device
Device info doesn't match image device Id extension
Image: Fw Data Version: Major Version: 101, OEM Manufacturing Data Version: 3, Major VCN: 1
Device: Fw Data Version: Major Version: 101, OEM Manufacturing Data Version: 0, Major VCN: 1"

asrock did something wrong?

how about just the output of a device scan without the attempted flash?

Flashing FW Data File:
"C:\ARC\dg2_fwdata_asrock770.bin"
This I cant really comment on. Given that I have never seen this one used and I cant be certain it doesnt apply to other SKUs (like the Asrock Challenger A770) or that may or may not be publicly available.

It's a good idea to make sure if your testing firmware flashes that you are using roms specific to your model. That is why I leave the filenames intact.

As said below an older driver version does have the correct name however. I have attached it to this post I extracted it from fwdata.zip from driver 101.4824

As for the actual flash issue your HW scan looks normal. Your print out though, does look odd.

Error: The image is not compatible with the device, check vid/did
OPROM DATA Version: 14 00 28 04 00 00 00 00
OPROM DATA Version: 14 00 27 04 01 00 00 00

The new oprom version was introduced in 101.4824 and hasnt changed since. You can try downloading a copy from another driver from the firmware matrix. Its possible the latest might be corrupt.

You might also try this one which was before they renamed the firmware but is the same version number (14 00 28 04 00 00 00 00): https://teamdotexe.org/downloads/Intel-FW/101.4676/dg2_d_oprom_asr770.rom

You might also be able to get away with the vanilla intel rom though I doubt it: https://teamdotexe.org/downloads/Intel-FW/101.5085/dg2_d_intel_a770_oprom-data.rom

asrock did something wrong?

I would have a hard time beliving that. Given that your card seems unique in that it is the only one I have heard of having issues flashing. It's possible there is an issue with the eeprom on the card itself; or even your machine.

You could always try and test with a SOC1 firmware from the FW matrix. Just to see if flashing another part of the card works.

However it should be noted there is no evidence currently that suggests that flashing your vbios will correct your fan speed atleast on that model. So that might still persist even if it takes.

Let us know how it goes.

Ok, My device oprom is "14 00 27 04 01 00 00 00", and all oproms for this gpu says "14 00 28 04 00 00 00 00" not compatible device,I think is a Intel or asrock issue, sad, thanks.
