ASUS 4070 Super - regular vs EVO?

I've seen that now there are two versions of this card. Besides the smaller size of the EVO, and having read that the latter has quite different heatsinks and heatpipes inside, I can't find any detailed information or review about the EVO model.

Might anyone know if these differences impact noise/temperature/performance at all?

i have not found any info on it either when i bought my 4070 Super but if i should guess they changed the heatsink because the memory is so far away from the coldplate that they need like 2mm+ pads. My 4070 Super Dual (non EVO) can hit 100°C on the VRAM with RT even at 2000 RPM on a Testbench.

sounds like unrealistic loads + pushed to edge OC'ing as mine has never gotten near that.

Normal gaming sits in the 60-80 range. (High resolution, no upscaling makes a significant difference)
Cyberpunk with RT (No PT) peaked in the high 90s after an hour.
Speedway loops are three digit.

Core temps are in the 60s with Hotspot temps in the 70s

After digging a bit more, it seems like the EVO basically reuses the 4060's cooling - meaning three heatpipes vs four, and horizontally oriented fins rather than vertically, as well as 90mm fans instead of 100mm.

I still can't find whether this translates to significantly worse thermals and noise in practice, or if it'd be still in line with the other model.

Its likely gonna not run as cool as the as the cooler is smaller.

i know now had the same question. the evo uses a smaller coller from the 3060ti gddr6x version. same tdp same cooler but worse than the regular dual of the 4070
