I never do. 12700K launched 28 months ago, it is OLD and much weaker than the current variant.

Why have you decided to use this old cpu? Are you modding PCs for clients and this is what your client supplied?

Old is my Ryzen 2700X that i still have in use. That CPU is offered by Amazon since 2018. Also a bit older is my 3800X that is offered at Amayon since 2019. That onbe i use in my primary PC. All the programs i need to run works fine on that CPU. Some take a bit longer. With TPM 1.0 the used board is officially not compatible to Windows 11. But there is rufus around and who needs windows at all.

2 gen old CPU is old. Only by coindidence (12th gen was a major performance uplift, and 14th gen cores are almost the same as 12th gen cores - I believe they got only some cache improvement and possibly some additional very minor improvements) are 12th gen CPUs still usable and relevant today, however 12700K vs 14700K has due to different frequencies more than 10% worse performance in single thread loads and massively worse performance in multithread performace due to eight missing E-cores.

hi guys completing this project with custom loop cooling, cable management, second monitor for temp. gpu led panel enjoy!

I mounted the small monitor for monitoring temperatures, I used Aida64 Extreme to make what I needed, it was a lot of fun.
