Its gfx are like just eh nothing record breaking but I think since the PS4 theres been nk real improvement

The Forza franchise has long been a pillar of quality and a premium driving experience, and I wish that were still true, but frankly, it's far from it. I am a big fan of the series, especially the main hard-core driving experience entries, with Forza 7 being one of the best-looking and most fun...

Just had a weird bug. Was levelling my BMW 850CSi and swapped the engine to a RB26 Skyline one and then I had no engine sound! Tried a 3.2 I6 and also no sound from the engine! Still love this game though as I won my 2nd online race on Road America short in a power-built MX5.

I know what you mean the thing about this Game is all the lines on track that make the crisp controls a joy. Unfortunately the Game crashed on Single player again this morning MX5 Cup. I have bought the Caddy LMDH and love driving it though the GT40 is faster.

I'm a road car enjoyer myself. All the race cars have so much grip until they don't and you are backwards in a wall. Give me D-class to A-class and I'm pretty nippy. Not as fast as I used to be, but I will get there.

Ever since Grid or I should say Test Drive Lemans or GT with that Toyota red Prototype I have loved driving top end LMP cars. The Mazda 787B is crazy fast, The Porsche 919 is crazy at get up but the Audi is the most powerful. Now the Caddy is mine and I want to use it as much as possible.

Toyota TS01. I will give them a drive in the single player and see if they are as daunting as I remember. Seems like you are having fun with the "broken" game... Just imagine it was bug free... I need to lay down, LMAO.
I'm enjoying the actual racing, especially since I've ramped up the difficulty and the performance on my PC is now perfectly satisfactory.
My two main gripes however are still the practice laps which I'm well aware of how to get around and also the progression system. I much preferred the FM7 system as a personal choice.
Although Forza Motorsport and GRID are two very different set ups and we all play them for different reasons, given the choice, I would GRID every time.
Finally with the new driver 23.11.1 game does not crash at rewards screen. Also shaders do not recompile with every launch. Tbh I thought that it's just how the game works but nope.
Finally decided to install on PC vs just the XBX, and wow did drivers make a difference for me in this game.
Was using 537.58 and no matter what settings I had was stuck around 50 FPS.
Updated to 546.29 and voila 100+ FPS avg with Ultra/High settings and RT / DLSS off.

That was actually in the notes for today’s Patch 3. It’s just funny you actually did it. When I read it in the notes I thought it was just very strange “outlier” type bug Well at least, Good News! They fixed it for you!
Updated drivers from 546.29 to 546.33, the game will no longer load at all.
It just keeps getting stuck at the initial load screen (same as on 546.29) - this is with the Xbox app (not Steam).
I can unfreeze it sometimes with CNTRL+ALT+DEL but tonight nothing seemed to do it.
Back to the XBX then...was hoping to compare more between that and PC.
Will have to wait until this is un-borked (at least for me) to keep doing so.
My initial impression was that (resolution difference aside w 4K TV) the console version somehow seemed better looking (performance mode) VS High/Ultra on PC.
It looked more polished, better effects, no pixelated images further out in draw distance (and that was with DLSS off entirely on PC).
Definitely not as noticeable as something like FH5, where I can tell the res on my PC is lower, but that all the other eye candy is completely cranked VS on console.
It's like there's an issue with the actual graphics settings being applied or something.

Ridiculous it wasn't included from the start for being a modern racing SIM.
I'll try this again on PC after update 5.0, as of 3.0 the Xbox version was straight-up better than PC.
I bought this Game as it it was the only the has the new LMDH cars. I had 7 and it does control better than 7 which makes it fun. The issue for me is I want to race real race cars. After a month of racing street cars I realized that not even the Multiplayer supports real racing. The events that they give you make you feel like you are renting the Game as if you don't finish the series before it's gone you no longer can play the series and those are some of the best in the Game. I was very disappointed with the lack of real racing (In a sim I know). All I am going to say is that I was so put off that I decided to try AMS2. They did the LMDH update with Le Mans and it also includes the BMW and Porsche. This is something you cannot do in Forza. I created a 10 race Championship that has Group B cars, LMDH, DPI and GT1. The racing is also so kinetic that even though I know this is a Forza thread I have no issue telling all of you to try AMS2. It even has mods to add all the cars from Project Cars 2. Tracks as well but they have issues. The racing is the best I have seen in a Racing Game since Gran Turismo 2.
To be honest, I much prefer the progression tree of FM7. Simple to understand and well designed. I still have to finish the endurance, so I'll wait for a rainy day
This might be an odd question but do you guys play with music in the background?
Not gonna lie I never think to do this on console, and usually wind up remembering mid-race...
Side-note, if anyone can figure out how the hell to get SXM on Xbox let me know.
MS says it does, but I cannot find it anywhere in the app store when searching.

I was going to reinstall it, but all the reviews on XB app still say it's completely broken :/
