The only reason these are being sold is because I just purchased a 2 x 4gb kit.

I'll check with him. When I was talking with him today about it, he was hoping for an 2x4GB kit, seeing as how they are half the price for what he paid for the 2x2GB kit he has. But at the same time, he's so tight (saving for a wedding in October) that he won't foot the cash for a 2x4GB kit. Lemme see what he says...
