Seeing as I started this thread. It is safe to believe some interest existed. At this point I'm just topically bumping the thread to promote relevant information.

No signs of release day appearance on GOG is relevant information so far I'm concerned.

PSN had like a couple of breaches over the years but I think the main problem is countries that do not have access to PSN will not be able to even get the game to begin with.
Which is what caused the huge fiasco with Helldivers 2.

I think it is relevant to your statement noting the fact Sony discovered and announced breaches. Discovered and announced.

Usefulness and enjoyability of multiplayer on the console side is unknown to me. Maybe it is very active on PSN.
A mostly unwanted feature being lost could be seen as a plus by some.
Not being purchaseable for offline play in those countries would be unwarranted discrimination.

I don't Sony will release a PSN required game on GoG, none of their current titles are PSN required that are on GoG. So you might be waiting a long long time...

well then, ill wait for Monster Hunter Wilds playing other games. Sony need to understand some people just dgaf about multiplayer or don't have the time for it.
We are not limited by the amount of games in pc like only Playstation console owners are with a short library. I was really hyped for this game, but ive learned with the years to wait and have patience
everything come to place or just keep walking forward.

Why Sony wants to take that level of loss of profit is beyond me, especially for a digital game. My God they are just throwing money out the window.

I considered starting a thread on how the console giants (Sony and Nintendo) are approaching the PC environment and gaming in general. GoW: Ragnarok is supposedly one of many former PS exclusives we can expect will start arriving in larger numbers this year. We already have a discussion on impact of actions Microsoft is making.

How far beyond the console experience these ports scale on top tier hardware is going to be interesting. The idea of a dedicated gaming PC that is fully offline, while console are going always online pay-to-play, is not looking so obscure. Quite sane in fact.

Well, I do have a PS5 and hence, a PSN account (available in my country), but online play isn't for me, so IF I do get Ghost of Tsushima DC, it'd be solely for SP gameplay. The online play aspect of the game holds no interest for me...

I'm afraid you are right about how long we could be waiting for this game to arrive on GOG and also curious if you have any thoughts on Assassin's Creed Shadows.
(Half year out pre-orders for $$$ versions without showing in-game footage, or anything comparitively engaging to now released GoT, being the sole example I can openly type here out of many bad topics Space Lynx is probably laughing at being mock trolled into exploring.)

I have no comment on that game honestly. I will probably skip Shadows, it just doesn't interest me. I still plan to play AC Mirage someday though when it hits the $5-10 bin in a year or so.

I'm in no rush.

On-topic: Ghost of Tsushima looks amazing on PC, I will get it someday, but not right now, I am doing PC Game Pass right now, $1 for first month, and then another month for free after that from my 8bitdo Controller purchase, loads of games on there I want to play starting with Diablo IV campaign. Then FFXIV Dawntrail comes out, which I already have pre-ordered. So, my summer is already determined for me.

It's a port of the PS5 version so most of this is pretty simple to answer for yourself if you want to deal with potential spoilers others may not be looking for.

4. RPG? Unless you consider AC II a RPG it is safe to say very poor. Stealth and parry, intricate patterns of movement while selecting targets.
5. Only guessing by your system specs and the type of settings that are evolving to work best (no crashing). 6GB-8GB of your 10GB in most locations?

This might prove helpful assessing what settings are available and impact they have on this early unpatched game version.

Not sure if it helps at all but I dont use any upscaling and at 5120x1440 everything as maxed as I can get it I push 13gb of vram total not just game.

literally no reason to own a ps5 now. I don't think there are any holdouts left except Bloodborne, but that will probably make its way to PC or PS5 Pro as a remake meh

With Gamepass PC you really dont need a Xbox either

There are many reasons but the main one for me is when steam goes down so does my single player game to a lot of the time, now add PSN and if that goes down it's just more crap on crap.

And for PSN and HD2 i still have not been able to un-link my account. It's about time steam offered to un-link other accounts connected to steam and not this stupid dance of each company does.

well the sony account is for multiplayer... the devs stated that in order to play the game you dont need a sony account..
i think game developers should be more clear and precise what their game requires... be it single or multiplayer part

The irony is devs don't even know more often than not. Subject to change... we've seen this so many times. On the fly decision making without vision and driven by supposed legalese or money.

It always fails and it sucks the fun out of entertainment. I'll be honest that's probably the main reason I switch off and just get stuff elsewhere. The constant 'Agree to this' nonsense and commercial push, sometimes even for a single game you have to go through multiple EULA changes and whatnot, and its worse if you have to go there through a launcher like EA's origin because it ALSO keeps changing and asking you to agree. Don't agree? Thanks for playing, all your shit is null and void.

I present a fat middle finger to those practices. Sony should've thought about this better, if they want to serve another platform, do it right and unburden your customer, that's what they're there for. Publishing.

Everything can be done. I'm playing V Rising now... self hosted servers... the whole shebang is just there like its 1999 again. The game is fun. No ingame shop. No nonsense. 34 euro. There are cosmetics and they're not pushed into your face in the game all the time, only the main menu has a thingy showing them. And those get bought, too, based purely on goodwill.

I just restarted it on PS5 last night and I think it looks really nice. They really nailed the old samurai movie feel.
