The right-handed ergonomic Model D 2 Pro 4K/8KHz Edition is the director successor to the Model D Wireless. Unlike the latter, the D2 Pro does without RGB lighting and holes to achieve a weight of just 62 g. The latest BAMF 2.0 sensor along with optical switches for the main buttons are used, and up to 8000 Hz polling in wired mode or 4000 Hz in wireless mode are possible, with up to 80 hours of battery life.

When applying lateral pressure, minor creaking but no flexing of the shell can be observed.

Aw man, I was hoping they fixed that. My gen one Model D creaks too, but it's the only complaint I have about it.

At that price, there should be absolutely ZERO creaking anywhere at any time.... all it means is that they cut some corners somewhere, either in the material composition and/or the component quality....

Therefore, this rodent earns a solid NO-BUY from me :)

I have this mouse since january.
At first it was very buggy, but everything got fixed with firmware updates.

The build quality is mostly nice, except for a slight overhang of the RMB that can scrape your finger.
The texture of the shell is nice, but I've used it for less than four months and its already shiny on a few spots :(
