Same here, with March 2024 ESU installed. Thanks for that. I have a few security updates installed right up-to April 2024. ..I was thinking I pushed to hard with security because my computer is always online.

Correct. It works fine on Windows 10 and 11. When I check the sig of the same .sys file in Explorer in Windows 7 it comes back as invalidThe issue seems to be related to the digital signature on the GPU-Z driver, or the way OS validates it.

Hello! I didn't have this issue myself using Windows 10 22H2 x64, but some of my pals using Windows 7 and 8.1 did have. Windows 7 x64 6.1.7601.27017 ESU confirmed it fixed.
Have you delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\techPowerUp before trying a new build? If it's portable or not is defined there.Yes, but now if I try & install the old version it acts as if's a portable executable. So it looks like all older versions may act like portable GPUZ. ie it just opens up but with no option to install/create start bar/desktop or even a folder in windows. So I still have issues
It looks like it's got something to do with one or more files in screen grab "see red boxes"
EDIT: I should also include where it say's "Video card information Utility" to this list.

Practically no (installing it). It just makes life easier when it's accessable via the start menuHi,
I've never chosen the install is there any benefit to installing verses portable ?
I download/ properties and unblock the download folder/ exe and shortcut to desktop.
Hm.. Might be Crystalidea Uninstall Tool or Revo Uninstaller (or any SW of this kind) could fix this rather than OS rollback if you haven't done it yet? Because it seems that something went really wrong when you had installed 2.58.0.0. previously. Yet being Windows 10 user I can't reproduce it myself to understand what's the issue is.If I can't fix issue, just have to rollback OS.

I understood it myself when I saw SHA-1 DS, it's usually done for the compatibility reasons. But I meant delshay's problem - when installation process itself was not correct or even partially broken.Windows 10 has different signing requirements than Windows 7/8, and these older Windows versions don't understand modern SHA256 signing certificates

Ok! W1zzard's advice above you message is more precise but if something's wrong with GPU-Z I do this exactly. Finally got round to this & it worked. Computer is now 100 fixed & software behaves as it should & installs properly via link (new software) posted in thread.
