Since you will be processing PCM (the encoder also processes PCM) it effects both PCM out and on-the-fly passthrough.

They come with .txt guides, once you extract the .7z files. You can right click > edit the .reg files if you want to read them, or make backups.

If you look through the linked registry point you will find Dolby, you can right click 'AudioProcessingObjects' and export to make a backup.
Advanced: If it's flag has an odd number, for example 13, change it to 12 (-1, decimal), this will help.

idk how to use the registry yet still learning that but i applied both files and ticked all of the boxes like the guides told me to do thank you so much for sending me those helped a ton turned on my pc and my boot sound came out of all 5 of my speakers (i mute my sub not a huge fan of bass love shit behind me tho )

i hear what you were saying thats fucking weirdddddd the i noticed the quality change in my rear speakers right away they run off of rca cables leading to my sub they are wireless rears

the sadest part is now i have to use my pc for everythang i started useing roku for youtube streaming stuff like that but even if i get good equiment for it it wont be on par to my pc

question u mentioned backing up can u explain in as much detail as u can how to backup my redigit aswell if i can my usb optical adpaters config so if a update gets put on it i can easily fix it

i hope you know your amazing thank you so much iv dreamed about haveing this system ever sense i was a kid and i read surround sound on my wii iv always wanted surround sound for my classic emulators i got from snes to ps2 working in emulators with full 5.1 surround sound so i get to experince a version of gameing not many do if you ever come out with somethang of your own please dm me ill gladly help u with development if you decied to try to make your own solution

true but thats just cause i made my own system useing voice meeter and had to use bluetooth for my rear speakers it was a experince to say the least its what made me get a full dolby atmos 5.1 system ( it uses dolbys surround upmixer)

i did that for some time id say it was horrible i tryed my hardest to use my pc as a av reciver but i just said fuck it and actually got one due to latancy and sample rates 2/3 of the speakers used 4800 the 1 speaker used 4100 so trying to combine theme to make a 5.1 system was a fuckin pain

Wireless latency is indeed an issue, I would not really suggest wireless myself if someone was to ask. I have seen 100ms + with wireless devices.

yeah for some reason when useing my real soundbar with wireless speakers i get no noticable latancy tho so i use wireless rear speakers for soundbar systems

new thang i noticed flac is translated into pcm is flac or pcm better if flac would be better for my flac mixes how do i go about fixing that? thare both open source options

FLAC and PCM are both lossless, so equal, just PCM is not compressed FLAC is, same quality.

after testing for a few days your fixes have made my system sound better than when i was useing hdmi i forgot i commented on this post lel i wish windows would just let us use 5.1 over usb if we can do it why cant the os have a option for it ugh however im happy i atleast know how to get it working now

Is it possible to force surround sound with dts interactive (or dolby live i don't care that much about "quality loss") over hdmi?
Right now i use just the dolby atmos uwp app. Without VAC because I can't figure out how to use it
But with my receiver it causes noticeable audio delay. And some games (like Alan Wake 2) for some reason not outputting 5.1 surround with atmos app.

Yes, but it wont fix games not detecting multichannel mode. The only fix for that is VAC to trick the game into reading speakers.
As far as I know Dolby Atmos will add delay to all receivers. Better off with DTS:X HT over Dolby Atmos.
